Which Way are You Going?
Jul 10, 2018
Technology is a marvel today. Every car comes equipped with a GPS that shows us the best way to get to our destination or to get home.
We always want the fastest way to get there with as few delays as possible. We want the most direct way so we don’t get lost. Most of us access this great tool daily to find our way.
Before the GPS, the compass was used in the same way as a great navigational tool to find “true North”. This, in turn would guide the explorers, like Columbus, through the unknown. It is used today by searchers going into unfamiliar areas to find their way home.
Over 2,000 years ago we were given a spiritual GPS and compass to guide us to our heavenly home. When we take Jesus into our hearts as our Lord and Savior he becomes our GPS ….our compass, for true north, which will take us home to the heavenly Father.
Remember in John 14 when Jesus says: “I am going to prepare a place for you. Where I am going you know the way.” Thomas says to him, “Master we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way? Jesus says to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
So if you feel yourself getting lost in the daily challenges of your life remember to turn on your spiritual GPS daily, to stay on the road that will take you home. Jesus is always with us and he will help us find our way when we are lost in the woods of life.
He is the Way!
Be a “Way Watcher” so you know the way home.
