Winter Bible Study: The Book of Psalms
We will cover how the psalms came to us, how they have been used in our Judeo-Christian traditions, and see how they bridge the Old and New Testaments especially in our Lord’s preaching and writings of the Sacred Authors. With this more in depth background we can come to better understand how the Psalms can help our prayer life and individual walk with the Lord. Classes will be for 5 weeks via Zoom. Join us Wednesday evenings 7-8:30pm or Thursdays at Noon beginning February 8/9 and ending March 8/9. If you plan on attending, please contact Rick Halsted via email at [email protected] or the parish office at 334-3518 to reserve a spot and be on the email list to receive weekly course materials. Although not required, the Ignatius Catholic Bible Study volume, “The Book of the Psalm” is an excellent resource, will be referenced. It can be ordered on line or by contacting the parish office.
