Some of you may have seen the article in the June Catholic Courier totally dedicated to the miracle of the Real Presence in the Holy Eucharist. Catholics are invited to return to the obligation of Holy Mass on Sundays and receive the “real thing.” This is a powerful message to send us off with into the ordinary time of the liturgy for the rest of the year
Over the past year people have been starved for the Bread of Life where Jesus is truly present. Hopefully, many will return to the feast of eternal life…the Bread of Heaven.
However, there was another article you really need to read which featured our Adoration Chapel here at St. Joseph’s where the consecrated Eucharist is there for all to “enjoy” daily. Adorers strengthen their relationship with Jesus in the hour spent in His “Real Presence.”
Marianne Hoffkins, an Adoration Chapel coordinator, who is quoted in the article, invites all of you to attend a “Eucharistic Miracles” session on June 17th at 7 pm on the lower level of St. Joseph’s. It is sponsored by the Spiritual Friends Ministry. At times “we need to see in order to believe” and she will lead you through several miracles that are awe inspiring and will provide you with hard evidence of the Real Presence.
Michelle Schroeder, author of the Handy Little Guide to Adoration, said “When you need to be with Jesus, when you need answers and direction, when life is hectic and you need refreshment, come into the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist for one hour.
Out of the 168 hours in your week this one hour will be “an hour that will change your life forever.” Blessings, Jeanne
