ASAP is usually attached to a memo and means do "as soon as possible." Here is another version which is more important for us to do "Always Say A Prayer."
Perhaps, daily, you have your favorite prayers like The Our Father, The Serenity Prayer or the Divine Mercy Chaplet. Of course, on Sunday, the Mass is one long beautiful prayer that you take part in. these prayers may be the foundation of your relationship with the Lord and that is great.
However, there is a need for consistent and persistent prayer for those who have very specific needs in our world. Here is an opportunity to set aside time exclusively for those who may desperately need our prayers.
Here is a "prayer possibility list" for you to look over. Select those that speak to your heart and ask for Our Heavenly Father's blessings. Be as specific or as general as you like.
- Homeless refugees
- World Peace
- Survivors of natural disasters
- Hungry and sick children
- Unborn children
- Healing of an illness
- Departed love ones
- Conversion of lost souls
Remember all are part of the mystical body of Christ...our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Feel free to add to the list.
Which ones did you choose? Don't forget to ASAP
